Wedding Photography FAQ’s

How many photos will we receive after the wedding?

• We typically deliver anywhere from 700-1200 images.

How long will it take to receive my photos after the wedding day?

• We typically deliver 6-8 weeks after the wedding for part of the year and as we get busier we are around 8-12 weeks for delivery. We don’t want to rush the process, we definitely put quality first to assure consistency with our portfolio. Your considering us because of what you’ve seen, we want to make sure what we deliver is of the same quality and standards!

Do we need a second photographer?

• We photograph weddings solo quite often and with todays cameras and lenses offered it’s not often necessary to have a second photographer. 70% of our weddings in the last year have been with only one photographer. We are very much capable of fully documenting your wedding day beginning to end without missing a beat. We do however have the option to add a second photographer if you would like one!

What does “all day coverage” mean exactly?

• We arrive about an hour before you get your dress on. This allows us plenty of time to document the sentimental items, the dress and the finishing touches of makeup and hair with ease. We leave once the reception is over, we got you covered beginning to end!

Are engagement sessions recommended?

• Yes! We love engagement sessions, this definitely allows you to feel more comfortable on your wedding day in front of the camera. You will get to see how we work and will be comfortable with having a camera around you all day! By the end of your session we will all be laughing and having a great time!

Do you have insurance?

• We are fully insured and we are on file with most local wedding venues that require it!

Wedding Videography FAQ’s

Why should we add videography coverage?

• A wedding is a one day experience and it goes by extremely fast. You’ve invested so much money and time into one day that it’s very important to fully document that day so you can re-live it over and over again. There will be moments throughout the day that a wedding film can capture that a photograph will not. If you write your own wedding vows we can incorporate them into the video, hearing your actual voices and watching how your day unfolded will never get old.

Do you have a drone?

• Yes, we do! It is $495 to add drone coverage to your collection. Depending on the venue, weather and locations throughout the day drone coverage will vary. We will chat more about this option and get more in depth after we book your event!

Can we choose the music for the wedding film?

• Unfortunately due to copyrights and licensing it isn’t possible to just pick any song. We pay for the usage/rights per song to add to the film. We have several different libraries that we purchase from that we are legally allowed to use. We choose music that fits your wedding style and the footage captured throughout the day. When you edit a film, the music typically dictates how it’s edited. This is an important part when producing the highlight film!

What will the final delivery of products consist of?

• You will receive a 5-7 minute highlight film

• Full ceremony video

• 1 minute teaser film

How long does it take to receive our wedding films?

• Just like editing photos, this is a very time consuming process. It takes Hollywood movies a year or more to complete one film that is 1-2 hours long. It will take us about 8-12 weeks to create a film that is 5-7 minutes long. Please be patient and allow us to create the perfect wedding film for you!
