We had such a blast with Casey + Brett wondering in downtown Franklin, singing chipmunks Christmas songs in the car and even doing a little creek walking. We can't wait to bring in the NEW YEAR with Casey + Brett at our favorite wedding venue, Cactus Creek!
Alyssa + Wil brought A LOT of laughter during our engagement session. We found out just how much these two have in common, we also found out that Wil tells very funny secrets! The ability to capture raw emotion through images is what we strive for. Our goal is for our couples to relive these moments just as if they were there again. We have been SO excited to photograph Cara and Grant. We started the session at Ellington Agricultural Center to capture some of the beautiful leaves still left on the trees, and ended the session a Cumberland Park. We love doing a mix of daylight photos and ending the engagement with night-time city shots. Especially, when you have an amazing looking couple like Cara and Grant!
The excitement for this engagement session has been building for a long time. We are blessed that we had the opportunity to capture and document the love that April + John Michael have for each other during their engagement session. This engagement session hits home for us, literally! John Michael is Brittney's younger brother which makes him my brother in law.
After introducing them to each other years ago, we’ve watched them grow together and build such a strong and solid relationship. They support each other and lift each other up, no matter the circumstance. We’re so confident that they will continue to be successful and accomplish endless things as a team, already they’ve graduated college, obtained jobs in the real world and are currently renovating their own home.
We can't explain the excitement that we feel for them and how much we look forward to their wedding day next year. We love you both SO much, thank you for allowing us be a part of your journey.
Rachel + Alex chose an absolutely GORGEOUS venue for their wedding day! We are SO excited document their love on their wedding day at Iriswoods and celebrate along side their family and friends. Their sweet and down to earth personalities make them so special and so much fun to be around.
We feel so LUCKY to have the opportunity to get to know Brittany + Mike. We love the fact that these two met in nursing school and are currently both serving in the intensive care unit, we give them so much credit for the challenging work that they do! We can not wait to spend the day with their friends and family on their wedding day at Cactus Creek!

Stacie and Steve will be married at Tuckers Gap early next year, and we couldn't be more excited for them. The venue is stunning, so many beautiful locations for photos. We loved getting a chance to see the venue with all the beautiful changing colors, it made for really beautiful engagement photos for these two!
Carly and David are a super sweet couple that will be having a destination wedding here in Nashville, this next year. They came down for their engagement session and to scope out local venues, and what a great time of the year to make a trip down! So many beautiful colors as fall starts to change the trees.

We just love fall engagement sessions, and while the leaves are late to change this year, Ellington has some color! Elizabeth and Chris brought along their two pups and we all enjoyed the beautiful weather and stunning backdrops for their session. These two lovebirds are to be married next year at Cedar Forrest Lodge, and we couldnt be more excited!
Caleb and Lauren are absolutely precious and their pup did SO good during their session! We got really lucky with the most beautiful sunlight coming through the trees and managed to find some new spots to shoot at Ellington that we have never seen before, in 8 years of shooting there! Lauren has not only been in several weddings we have shot in the past, but Michael is friends with her mother. We love when we have history with our clients! We are SO excited to photograph their wedding in 2017.
A few days ago we were lucky enough to spend the evening with Alissa + Jon! We truly enjoyed getting to know these two. It's crazy how much we have in common, from having roots in Pennsylvania to both having a huge dog named Paisley, how crazy! Alissa + Jon are so down to earth and have such sweet hearts. We did their engagement session in the gorgeous cotton fields at Sam Davis Home. We are looking forward to their wedding there, we can only imagine how gorgeous their wedding pictures will be! We just can't wait!
I'm not sure how we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to get to know people like Keely + Tyler. They are a perfect example of how our couples are not just our "clients" but will truly become life long friends. Both Keely + Tyler have this radiant joy about them that is contagious. After spending time with them exploring downtown Franklin we learned how kind, appreciative and FUNNY these two are. We LOVE that Keely + Tyler fully put their trust in us and were just as CRAZY + ADVENTUROUS as we are. Your wedding day is going to be AMAZING, we can't wait to be a part of it!

We CANNOT get enough of Abbie + Colby. These two both have the BIGGEST hearts and the BEST personalities. Colby a high school history teacher and Abbie, a soon to be elementary teacher... these two were SO meant to be! The best part of course was their dog, Griffin. He's pretty AMAZING! We are so excited about our new friendship with Abbie + Colby and can't wait for their wedding day at Front Porch Farms, we can already tell it is going to be a day full of love and laughter with their friends and family!
With all of the engagement sessions we have the pleasure of shooting throughout the year, its hard to pick a favorite. Then a session comes along and just truly touches your heart. That was certainly the case with Chelsea and Seths session at Rippavilla Plantation. Rippavilla, is absolutely amazing for photography! Acre after acre of beautiful open fields, gravel roads, old log houses and beautiful fencing. What more could you ask for? Chelsea and Seth brought along their three children, a horse named Daisy, and two dogs. All three were rescued! Daisy was abandoned, tied to a pole. A lady rescued her and Chelsea adopted Daisy. The pit terrier was adopted from Maury County Animal Shelter as a pup and is now 4 years old. Perhaps, the most touching though is the adoption of Keller, the little white cattle dog. Keller, is both blind and deaf, but thanks to Chelsea and Seth he is living the most amazing life! We enjoyed getting to meet all of them and capturing them all in one picture, priceless. We love it when our couples share of a part of themselves with us, allowing us to really get to know what they love and care about. Nici + Mark were so much FUN during their engagement session! We were in love with Mark + Nici's outfit choices and their willingness to get a little wet in the splash pad! We started our session at windy Cumberland Park and ended at the gorgeous Park at Harlinsdale Farm. We can not wait for Nici + Mark's wedding in a few short weeks at Travelers Rest Plantation!
We've had the honor of experiencing Sarah + Ayan's love story from the moment Ayan set up a romantic picnic and proposed to Sarah at Arrington Vineyards. Recently, we spent the evening with these two and their sweet son. We loved capturing the love this little family has for each other. As we turned the focus on Sarah + Ayan, their son had a blast finding artifacts in the creek! He is one smart guy! Just before sunset we spent sometime playing with Cactus Creek's beautiful horses! We feel so lucky to have the opportunity to document their love and precious family from the proposal, engagement session to their wedding in February!
